Product description
The MW starter protection was specially developed for BMW vehicles with S50 and S54 engines and reliably protects the starter's B+ cable from damage and short circuits.
As vehicles age, the original starter protection often becomes brittle, cracks, or is missing entirely. This is especially an issue in vehicles fitted with an aftermarket carbon airbox, where the unprotected B+ cable can come into contact with the airbox and cause a short circuit. Early signs often include discoloration at the front airbox mounting point.
The MW starter protection permanently and reliably resolves this known issue. Two cable ties are also included for secure and tidy installation.
