MW Tailgate release retrofit wiring harness incl. BMW button suitable for BMW E46 M3 & CSL

Description

Would you like to retrofit a tailgate in the style of the BMW E46 M3 CSL, or have you already installed an original CSL tailgate? Then the MW tailgate release retrofit kit, including a genuine BMW tailgate button, offers a suitable solution for electrically releasing the trunk via a separate button in the cabin.

When converting to a CSL tailgate, the standard trim strip with handle is removed, along with the button for electric tailgate release integrated into it.

On the original BMW E46 M3 CSL, the tailgate is therefore released using a separate button in the cabin. This is located above the hood release.

With the MW retrofit wiring harness, specially developed for this retrofit, and the included genuine BMW tailgate button, the electric tailgate release can be integrated into the existing vehicle electrical system via an interior button.

The wiring harness also supports the release button illumination function and enables a clean, OEM-style retrofit.
