Product Description

The MW starter protection is specifically developed for BMW vehicles with S50 and S54 engines and reliably protects the starter's B+ cable from damage and short circuits.

As vehicles age, the standard starter protection often becomes brittle, cracked, or goes missing entirely. Especially in vehicles with an aftermarket carbon airbox, the unprotected B+ cable can come into contact with the airbox and cause a short circuit. Early signs are often discoloration at the front mounting point of the airbox.

The MW starter protection provides a permanent and reliable solution to this well-known problem. The scope of delivery also includes two cable ties, which ensure a secure and clean installation.
