Product Description

When retrofitting an original E46 CSL trunk lid, the standard handle trim is removed – and with it, the button for unlocking the trunk.

The solution is provided by this high-quality MW retrofit kit, consisting of the original BMW trunk release button and the custom-fit MuenchnerWerke wiring harness. Just like on the original BMW E46 M3 CSL, the illuminated release button is mounted in the interior above the hood release, allowing for convenient opening of the trunk.

The wiring harness was developed specifically for an OEM-style retrofit and integrates perfectly into the vehicle's original electrical system. All functions are fully retained – no coding is required.

Ideal for all vehicles with an existing or planned CSL trunk lid.
